Get Started

Read the Week 1 story and make a list.

Use the Pocket Guide to work through the list.

Set a daily alarm to remind yourself to pause and practice.

Work the process.

First week

Each day when your alarm goes off: Go to a quiet place and pause. 

  • Start the pause by taking three deep breaths to slow down your mind and body.
  • Take a minute to connect with God by reflecting on God’s awesome power and tender care for you.
  • Ask God to bring to mind situations that are causing you worry or fear.
  • When one comes to mind, use the Pocket Guide, doing all four steps.

At the end of the week: Decide if you want to spend more time learning Relinquishment. If so, continue on to the second and third weeks.

Second week
